A global survey of nearly 2,000 business executives found overwhelming support for electrification as a solution to climate and energy-security challenges. More than 90 per cent of respondents said they expect significant electrification of their operations by 2035, while most viewed it as essential for reducing dependence on volatile fossil-fuel markets. Companies cited electric transport, renewable-powered manufacturing and electrified heating systems as key priorities. Business leaders also called on governments to accelerate grid modernization and provide policy certainty to support large-scale investments in clean-energy infrastructure.
